At Surrey And Kent Flying Club you can buy either a one hour or a one hour twenty minute trial flying lesson.

This includes a thorough briefing by the instructor followed by the flight, during which you will be given as much time at the controls as possible.

The instructor will carry out the take-off and will then demonstrate the effects of controls on the aircraft, involving turning as well as climbing and descending. Following this you will be given control of the aircraft and will be flying until the end of the allocated time when the instructor will land the aircraft.

If you decide to proceed with your private pilots licence this time will count towards your required flying hours.
A one hour trial flight in a Piper Tomahawk or Cessna 152 for £109.00
This is a 60 minute "Hands On" flight in one of our 2 seater aircraft including a classroom briefing with the instructor before the flight. On return a certificate of acheivement will be presented as a momento of the flight.

A one hour twenty minute trial flight in a Piper Tomahawk or Cessna 152 for £149.00
This is an 80 minute "Hands On" flight in one of our 2 seater aircraft including a classroom briefing with the instructor before the flight. This also includes a trip to another airfield. Thereby giving the opportunity to experience two take offs and landings, great for someone who is considering the PPL course. On return a certificate of acheivement will be presented as a momento of the flight.

A one hour trial flight in a Piper Warrior for £139.00
This is a 60 minute "Hands On" flight in one of our 4 seater aircraft including a classroom briefing with the instructor before the flight. This will suit people who are quite tall or of a larger build! On return a certificate of acheivement will be presented as a momento of the flight.

A one hour twenty minute trial flight in a Piper Warrior for £169.00
A great one to share!! One person can fly the outbound leg to another airfield and then if you wish a friend must fly the return journey home! This is an 80 minute "Hands On" flight in one of our 4 seater aircraft including a classroom briefing with the instructor before the flight. On return a certificate of acheivement will be presented as a momento of the flight.
